Dry soup mix from Whole Foods..? - bulk dry beans

I mixed the bulk section at Whole Foods, and I remember there was a mixture of 1 part to 8 parts liquid, but can not remember the cooking instructions (how long) .. I put my chicken broth to a boil, reduce heat, and then the mixture is too low .. anyone ever done before?

It is a bean / dry soup mix of vegetables, btw.
