Why do I have to re-apply for educational benefits to get the Post 911 GI Bill? - apply for fafsa
I am covered by the Montgomery GI Bill for Reserves, and I do not understand why I am again, if I change the Post 9 / 11 GI Bill, if the conditions are the same for both have. Why can not I simply send a signed letter that I want to change? What is the purpose of the new request if they know that I am entitled?

The requirements are not the same for both.
Select the Reserve GI Bill, requires that you have completed the AIT come into question.
No time for active service is required goal.
To qualify for the post in question 9 / 11 GI Bill, you must qualify the time of delivery.
Basic Training. AIT monthly drill and annual training must be considered not currently in active service.
